Elmore Court Spring Wedding | Verity & Darren.

What a memorable day we had filming this Elmore Court Spring Wedding. Verity and Darren make a lovely couple and it must be said that their family and friends helped to make it a very special wedding indeed. So much love and laughter was in the air.

One of the beauties of Elmore is the ability of the Bride and Groom to be able to carry out their preparations in different areas of the same venue. We enjoyed filming this part of the day and being able to easily nip between bridal and groom preparations often catching some great little moments. Steve’s amazed reaction on seeing his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time is a classic example.

It was also great to see guests arriving and taking advantage of the lovely weather and gorgeous grounds. It’s always lovely to see family and friends coming together for such a special occasion. The little girl playing with bubbles is always going to be memorable but capturing moments like these on film makes them unforgettable.

Everyone made their way to the ceremony hall and awaited Verity’s arrival. And what a picture the bridal party were as they entered the room. Steve looked extremely proud of his daughter but Darren seemed literally blown away at the sight of his future bride and it was something that he would later mention in his speech. A great ceremony it was too with some lovely little touches like the highly personal promises that Verity and Darren made to each other. And so the newly married couple exited the hall in a shower of applause and confetti and began the next chapter in their lives.

We much enjoyed working with Lucie Hamilton Photography with all of us managing to obtain some great shots during the afternoon and evening. We all made good use of the amazing backdrops that Elmore has to offer. We also filmed some goodwill messages and the poem written and read by Darren’s father was incredibly touching.

And so the celebrations continued into the evening and both old and young seemed to fully enjoy themselves. Verity and Darren seemed to savour every second of their amazing day. We felt privileged to be part of it and to have been able to capture such an unforgettable occasion on film.
