The Barn at Upcote Wedding.

With the rolling Cotswold hills as a wonderful backdrop The Barn at Upcote is a venue we were very much looking forward to filming at and the secluded setting was just perfect for Sam & Rosie on their very special day.

And what a day it was! The weather was absolutely beautiful and shone brightly on this lovely couple who without doubt have a wonderful chemistry. The day began with one of us filming Sam making his preparations at his parents home in Gloucester and the other filming Rosie and her bridal party as they made their preparations in the bridal suite at the Barn at Upcote.

The level of thought that had been taken to ensure that the barn was looking at it’s best was really impressive and it must be said that the flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous especially the ones worn by Rosie and her bridesmaids. Not to be outdone by the ladies Sam and his mates also looked extremely dashing. Although it must be said that wearing a tweed jacket on one of the hottest days of the year did prove a little warm for Sam at times.

It’s lovely to film friends and families arriving to help celebrate such a special occasion and catching those special moments that happen throughout the day can be so rewarding. This wedding was no exception! It was also great to see so many fun activities provided for the young and the young at heart to play with.

With everyone assembled Sam waited for his bride to arrive. Rosie escorted by her father looked amazing as she and her bridal party made her way down the steps towards the ceremony barn. The look on Sam’s face on seeing his bride was unforgettable.

The day continued to be unforgettable with everyone enjoying the magic and fun of the occasion in beautiful surroundings and of course the weather was truly amazing. The perfect conditions then for us to obtain some great shots and the use of the house garden with it’s very own lake provided a great opportunity for some lovely portrait shots. As the sun began to lower we also gained some really atmospheric Sunset shots. How we love the golden hour especially when the conditions are this good!

With the dance floor surrounded by happy guests Sam & Rosie took their first dance to a live and stunning rendition of ‘Can’t Help falling in Love’. And it must be said that stunning is a word that could sum up the day very well indeed.

We very much look forward to returning to The Barn at Upcote soon but in the meantime congratulations to Rosie and Sam!
