Lapstone Barn Wedding | Emma & Chris
It was our first time filming at Lapstone Barn and it could not have been a more perfect venue for the wedding of Emma and Chris.
The barn is situated just up the road from Chipping Campden, a jewel in the crown of Cotswold villages and known worldwide for it’s honey coloured stone. With the 18th century barn surrounded by green lawns and yellow rape fields you could almost have described the wedding venue as having a jewel like quality too.
We approached the barn along the long driveway and found our way to The Hayloft a lovely area where Emma and her bridal party were busy with their preparations. We love capturing the natural moments throughout the day and this stage gives plenty of opportunity. Chris and his party would arrive at the barn later and we were able to film their final touches being made.
Lapstone Barn also impresses on the inside with separate ceremony and reception areas which means the wedding breakfast room can be set up at the start of the day so things can move seamlessly from one stage to another. All of the decorations from the little touches in the ceremony area to the reception table centrepieces looked amazing on the day and were a credit to time and thought.
Emma looked amazing and so too did Chris and each of their respective parties. Everyone seemed relaxed and there was a sense of fun in the air too. No doubt there was to be a great party in the evening and we were not disappointed.
We always enjoy getting candid natural shots of family and friends and we were were given plenty of opportunity throughout the day. Many had travelled from afar so it’s always great to see everyone coming together for such a wonderful day, and sharing in the joy of such a special occasion.
From the amazing ceremony to the shots of Emma and Chris in the rape fields we knew this was a special day for a very special couple. We thank you for letting us be part of your day and wish you every happiness!
