Great Tythe Barn Spring Wedding | Katie & Paul.

What an amazing day we had filming this gorgeous Great Tythe Barn Spring wedding. Katie and Paul are a fantastic couple and so well suited to each other. We felt privileged to have been part of such a joyful day and it was a pleasure to capture these very special moments alongside Tanli Joy Photography.

One of the beauties of the Great Tythe Barn is the ability for the preparations, ceremony and celebrations to take place on the same site. Katie and Paul began their day in different areas of the venue with Katie and her bridesmaids making their preparations in the main house. Katie and her party looked stunning and it must be said that Paul and his party looked pretty dapper too.

The day had a relaxed air and everyone seemed to be joining in with the fun. And of course a very dear little dog was happy to be part of the day too and was very central to the confetti shot!

We love capturing magical moments and there was a fairly good supply of them throughout the day. Who for instance could ever forget the surprise of Katie’s father playing the Bagpipes as his newly married daughter and Paul exited the ceremony room, or Paul pulling Katie over in the wheat field just when she thought we might be getting some great shots. And we did get quite a few of those too.

Lots of laughter, music and fun filled the afternoon with a magician also adding an additional sense of surprise. Katie and Paul seemed to relish their special day and it must be said too that everyone present seemed to get fully involved in the fun and sense that this wedding was something a bit special.

And so the celebrations continued into the night and no doubt there were a few sore heads the next morning but what a day it had been. What fun, what joy, we had filming this Great Tythe Barn Spring Wedding!
