KINGSCOTE BARN WEDDING.
Rebecca and Alex enjoyed a wedding day that took in some stunning locations culminating with a wonderful reception at Kingscote Barn. Every location throughout the day offered a great chance to gain some very cinematic shots!
The remnants of early morning mist lifted from the Stroud valley as a magical wedding day unfolded. Surrounded by her close family and bridesmaids Rebecca made her preparations at the Railway Hotel Apartments in Nailsworth. The dresses the women wore were beautiful. If there were some nerves they seemed to be well hidden. It was lovely to hear an abundance of laughter as well as the surprise of a Rolls Royce appearing at the front door, which would convey Rebecca to her Church wedding.
Meanwhile Alex made his preparations at the Old lodge in Minchinhampton. Again the accommodation was perfect for the occasion. The location also offers some stunning views over the common and beyond. Alex made his preparations with both his best man and brother close by. It must be said that the three men looked extremely smart. The atmosphere also seemed chilled and relaxed. With final touches made the party made their way to Woodchester Church
Any remaining clouds cleared and the Sun began to shine as guests entered the church. Inside there was an air of calm and happiness, hallmarks of a very special day. Alex waited for his bride to arrive and it was lovely to see his reaction as Rebecca made her way down the aisle with her proud father at her side. During the service there was an additional fun moment with even the vicar cracking a little joke. Once married the new Mr & Mrs McClean emerged from the church and were showered with clouds of confetti. A glass of champagne and the white Rolls-Royce were waiting close by… ready to convey the happy couple in style to Kingscote Barn.
The newly weds arrived at Kingscote Barn as the sun started to shine through a break in the clouds. Kingscote Barn is a magnificent venue with a glorious landscape, which provided the perfect backdrop for our portrait shots. We really enjoyed filming some beautiful and cinematic shots with the photographer for the day Clint Randell from Pixel Photography.
After capturing the lovely atmosphere of the reception, in glorious sunshine, we headed inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The Bride & Groom were welcomed into the breakfast hall to a huge and heart-warming cheer of hurrah! Alex, Steve (Father of the Bride) and Glenn (Bestman) all made wonderful speeches, captivating guests and stirring up an array of lovely emotions.
Alex and Rebecca’s first dance as husband and wife combined the perfect mix of happiness and romance. We could not be happier to have been part of their special day and we wish them all the best for the future!
