HYDE BARN WEDDING
Antony & Christina had a wonderful wedding day at Hyde Barn in one of the most beautiful parts of the Cotswolds, surrounded by friends and family.
Christina and her bridesmaids began preparations in spacious accommodation provided by Hyde Barn. It was lovely seeing Christina look so calm and beautiful.
Meanwhile, Antony was in the main house making final adjustments to his speech, with his good friend Katherine at his side. She was happy to adopt the title ‘Grooms maid’.
The ceremony was held at the idyllic church in Lower Slaughter, where Antony patiently waited whilst his bride was en-route in a classic Jaguar. Following the ceremony it was a pleasure to witness a German tradition whereby the newly weds cut a giant heart shape out of a bed sheet which was suspended under the lych-gate.
PICTURESQUE PORTRAIT SHOTS..
Shortly afterwards we captured some wonderfully natural and cinematic portrait shots of the newly married couple with Tanli Joy Photography. Picturesque Lower Slaughter, with its little river running through offers a perfect backdrop for any photographer or videographer.
The new husband & wife arrived at Hyde Barn in the Jaguar and it was lovely to experience a Ukrainian tradition or two during the reception and breakfast that followed.
MNOHAYA LITA..
Between the wedding breakfast and the first dance we took Antony & Christina to a nearby field and filmed some truly magical shots as the sun descended.
A Ceilidh band provided the music for not only the first dance but also the rest of the evening and it was wonderful to see everyone on their feet dancing energetically.
We had a wonderful day capturing all the highlights, traditions and magical moments. It must also be said that Tanli was a pleasure to work with sharing a similar natural style of shooting.
It was a delight to film Antony & Christina on their special day and we thank them so much for their lovely comment on the film we produced. We wish them all the very best for the future!
